Kristin Houle serves as the Program Associate for Amnesty International USA's Program to Abolish the Death Penalty. She joined the staff in April 2002. Kristin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 1998 with a B.A. in History.
She has been a member of Amnesty International since 1993, when she joined her first student group. Since that time, Kristin has participated in Local Group 68, founded an Amnesty student group at the University of Kentucky, and served as Student Area Coordinator for Kentucky for two years.
From 2000-2001, Kristin served as Kentucky's State Death Penalty Abolition Coordinator.
Kristin has been the lead organizer of Amnesty Internationals Faith in Action Program
