When Tina was 10 months old her parents were arrested and sentenced to Death. Her father Jesse Tafero was executed by the State of Florida in 1990. Her mother, Sonia Jacobs, was also sentenced to death. Sonia (Sunny) was released from prison after her childhood friend, Micki Dickoff, was able to prove that they were innocent.
Tina speaks for the children with loved ones on death row and has joined the Journey in California and Texas.
