5th World Congress Against the Death Penalty - Madrid, Spain

The 5th World Congress against the death penalty took place at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid from 12 to 15 June 2013. Over 1000 participants took the time to join the congress. 3 powerful days full with meeting new friends, old friends and sharing moments with each other ended in a march through the inner city of Madrid.

Two plenary sessions, eleven round tables and eight workshops over two days of debates. Bill Pelke took part of a workshop «Families of victims: an international action network » and represented the Journey of Hope with a information table
