Speakers from the Journey of Hope have been invited to speak in a wide variety of settings. College and seminary professors have brought speakers into their classes or campus-wide assemblies, as have public and private school teachers at all grade levels. Churches and other faith groups have invited the Journey of Hope to bring a message during worship, or to address conferences and other gatherings. A wide variety of community groups have invited speakers.
Regardless of their beliefs and opinions about the death penalty, audiences tell us they appreciate the personal stories and direct experience shared by the speakers, and their openness to conversation on the issues raised.
